The Author

So here I am. This is truly a unique experience.  I don’t usually put myself ‘out there’ as I am something of a private person. But the writing bug has taken hold and with it the need to express my thoughts and communicate with others in the literary world.

In my previous career almost all of my writing was in a technical capacity. This involved professional submissions and the development of educational curricula for the province of British Columbia. However, my creative self was always there, waiting for a chance.

Now, much of my free time is spent fishing the mountain lakes of B.C. In his writing, Stephen King has commented that “the world has moved on”. And he’s right; except when it comes to fly fishing. On a secluded stretch of water I can be young again. It’s there that the origins of my stories take hold. In a Raven’s Shadow is one of those stories. Like a persistent companion, it pushed me to put pen to paper and I am more than happy to share it with anyone who enjoys a thought provoking tale.
